Monica Vitti

Monica Vitti is an Italian actress widely recognized for her roles in such classic films as L’Avventura (1960) and L’Eclisse (1962).

She was born in Rome on November 3rd, 1931. She began appearing in film roles in 1954, and continued a long career in movies until the late 80s, when she retired from the film industry in 1989.

She is married to Roberto Russo, and lives in Rome. She tragically suffers from Alzheimers and is no longer in the public eye.
